Every backup is encrypted with AES-256 on your computer, with a key unique to that computer.
Each company gets its own storage area and its own access key; no one else can read it.
Beyond Cloud Vault keeps your data in an EU data center (Amsterdam), under GDPR.
Keep restore points for as long as you choose; old ones are cleaned up automatically.

Questions
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. The trial lasts 30 days and includes everything in the Standard plan, for up to 200 GB and 5 computers. Add a card only if you decide to stay.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you don't add a payment method, new backups pause and your existing backups stay restorable for 14 more days. Add a card any time and backups resume — nothing to reinstall.
Can you see my files?
No. Files are encrypted on your computer before they are sent, with a key that only your computer and your account hold.
How is the price calculated?
Per computer per month, with storage included (100 GB per laptop, pooled; 250 GB per server). Database backups and extra storage are added only if you use them. Prices exclude VAT.
Which systems are supported?
Windows laptops and desktops, Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. Oracle and virtual machines are on the way — see "What we protect".
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. You pay for the months you used; there is no long-term contract.
